"Thought provoking and musically intriguing. To stand out takes something special, and this EP is just that." - Outline Magazine
Vic Allen is a singer-songwriter originating from Norwich. She first picked up the guitar as a teenager and started to write her own songs after falling in love with country music on a trip to the US. She began to perform her original material at open mics in her university city of Bristol, and quickly progressed onto larger venues such as The Fleece and Bristol Harbourfest. Since graduating from Bristol, Vic has been performing across the UK, including venues in London, and festivals such as Buckle and Boots. In the summer of 2016, she took her first trip to Nashville, where she has returned regularly, collaborating with other songwriters and showcasing her original material in writers rounds. Venue highlights include The Bluebird Café and The Listening Room.
In October 2016, Vic independently released her debut EP, "The Missing Piece". The EP received some extremely positive feedback, particularly from BBC Introducing, who played several of the tracks on their Norfolk show and invited Vic to play a live set on Radio Norfolk.
Over the summer of 2017, Vic launched a successful crowdfunding campaign which allowed her to record her second EP. This EP is due for release in early 2018.
